After spending twenty years working with consumers on a daily basis to solve beverage problems and running a market leading juicing company, you could say that Robert Leo had squeezed the most out of his profession. However, you’d be wrong.

With two decade’s worth of experience under his belt and countless customer queries and recommendations to go on, Leo thought that he could create something from scratch that would stand out in a congested industry.

He believed and he did.

Olympic Products were formed in 1985 and they became the only company to offer a range of centrifugal, masticating and pulp ejection style juicers to the commercial catering trade.

Now known as Omega, they still remain the only entity that manufactures three different types of juicing appliances, giving consumers an unparalleled amount of choice and versatility.

Perhaps the most exciting Omega product that we supply is the FPMX0374, a popular and versatile dual-stage masticating juicer.

Masticating juicers are, typically, horizontal in design and feature an auger, contained in a tube which extends out of the motorised base unit. Pieces of fruit, or vegetables, are pushed into the top of this tube where they are crushed by the auger. The juice then flows out into a separate container whilst any pulp is forced towards the end of the tube, making it remarkably easy to clean.

Because of their slow action masticating juicers – the FPMX0374 has an operating speed of just 80rpm which maximises efficiency, limits the oxidation process and keeps more of those healthy enzymes intact – can also process vegetables, wheatgrass and a wide range of other ingredients – making them ideal machines to purchase in preparation for summer!

Another popular Omega model is the FPMX0402.

Known as ‘Megamouth’ to its friends due to its proportionally large feeding chute, this pulp ejection style juicer is fitted with an integrated receptacle bin which catches all the waste pulp and pips, without sacrificing performance.

Finally (but by no means least, of course!) there is the multipurpose FPMX0403 Citrus Juicer.
