Designed to prevent costly drainage issues, a grease trap prevents thick, dense oils, fats and grease from entering your pipework and clogging up pipes, causing expensive damage to both your establishment and your equipment.

A grease trap works by removing the emulsified and saturated animal fats and more long before they solidfy and cause drainage problems.

Usually installed under a sink, the grease collected is stored in a separate container for correct disposal away from drains and pipework. The remainder of the runnign water can pass through the system as normal causing no issues.
