Flykillers

Quality commercial flykillers in strong metal or plastic casing. Fly killers are a vital tool which helps you to control pests. By attracting and electrocuting flies and other insects, your food prep, cooking and serving areas are kept hygienic and free from pests.

There are two main types of flykillers, Electric or Glue board. These each offer their own benefits, so which you choose depends on the circumstances and requirements of your business.

Electric Flykillers

These are the traditional "zap" type of fly killers. They attract flies with a UV bulb, which are then zapped by an electrified grid. There's a collection tray below for cleaning and emptying.

Electric models require less maintenance, as there are no glueboard to replace. The tray is emptied from time to time, and a UV bulb may need replacing after some time.

Glue Board Flykillers

These consist of a UV bulb to attract flies, and removable glueboards, which traps the fly. These glueboards are replaced periodically.

Glue board based units make no noise, and are often designed to look discreet and less obvious.

Top Tip: We reccommend positioning your flykiller so it's not visible directly from outside the kitchen. This prevents you accidentally attracting flies into your kitchen.
