For potato peeling prowess without wasting time or reducing quality, the Lincat LPP35 automatic potato peeler is the commercial kitchen appliance that you require.
Designed specifically for the medium-sized catering business, the LPP35 has a capacity of 3.5kg of potatoes, and a maximum output of 35kgs of peeled and washed potatoes per hour. More than enough for a busy bistro, bar, cafe or restaurant.
Giving your kitchen quick access to potatoes has never been easier, especially as this countertop-friendly unit can be mounted almost anywhere within your kitchen and is supplied with a 13A plug and 2.5-metre power cord.
Capable of withstanding a high-level of usage, as with all of Lincat's range, the LPP35 requires little maintenance and requires little real TLC.
With dimensions of 425mm(h) x 650mm(w) x 380mm(d) and a weight of 27kg, there are plenty of placement opportunities and options for both static and even mobile caterers who need access to a moderate level of potatoes for dicing, boiling, chipping, mashing or roasting.
Commercial potato peelers, or rumblers as they’re usually known, work by “rumbling” the spuds in a drum with a rotating base against an abrasive inner compartment wall. This rapid process removes the skins and any residue of soil. A constant flow of sprinkled water removes the detritus, which is ejected via the waste outlet pipe. The peeled potatoes are normally discharged into a sink.
To connect a water supply to the LPP35, a water inlet is located on the top of the cylinder and secured by supplied hose clips. The other end of the water supply pipe is attached to a cold water supply that has a tap or shut-off valve to regulate water flow.
A quiet and unobtrusive unit, the LPP35 is both hygienic and easy to clean. It also features a corrosion-proof cast aluminium peeling plate and reversible liners which are also corrosion-proof.
