K-POT – No water. No overcooking. No stress. No loss of flavour.
The ideal partner for any event in conjunction with Rieber thermoplates – the GN compliant cooking pot – and the matching lid system.
Black
The Rieber K-POT 1/1 Passive Cooling or Hot Holding Tabletop Unit: in a black finish provides your serving areas with a sleek, energy-efficient alternative to the traditional bain marie buffet and foodservice option.
Smaller than the traditional bain marie and without the need for water, food quality remains exceptionally high thanks to the even heat distribution not found on similar stainless steel pans.
This innovative new buffet display unit uses Rieber-designed thermoplate technology and requires the usage of GN compliant cooking pots, and watertight press-in lid. These thermoplates use layered materials to ensure no overcooked delicacies or unnecessary energy consumption, therefore decreasing your running costs.
With a small size and sleek design, the K-POT system is ideal for event catering or buffet bars that want to increase space without compromising on serving ability or food display options. The specialist structure of the Thermoplates enables heat transfers to be up to 10 times faster than standard stainless steel pans in a regular bain marie unit - which makes these ideal for short term placement or timed buffet service.
This means that heat is added to the food in a gentle, homogeneous and controlled manner – for better food quality.
Compatible with sizes 1 x GN 1/1, 2 x GN 1/2 or 3 x GN 1/3, the K-POT utilises cooling and heat pellets to provide passive cooling or hot holding to your food preparation.
In basic terms a Thermoplate is a new design of a GN pan, made with outer layers of stainless steel for extra durability, but with central multi-laminate layers of highly conductive aluminium, which is ideal for all forms of cooking and especially induction.
