Founded in 1895 by W.H. Dean, Burco was set up to help meet the increased prevalence of gas water-heating at the turn of the century.

The company sprung to prominence in the 1950s after forging a path into the electrical product market shortly after the end of WW2. The company merged with Burnley Components (Bur-Co), thus Burco Dean was born.

Increasing in both output and popularity, one of the most prominent products became the Baby Burco Wash Boiler. Since then, the Merseyside-based business gone from strength to strength.
