This is the big one people, our favourite food day of the year is upon us again and the brainchild of Mr Hyde — London’s guide to where to eat and drink in the capital.

Now into it’s fourth year, the Mr Hyde National Burger Day is now indelibly inked into our calendars every 25th August.

2015 saw over 125,000 tweets and over 40,000 Instagram posts tagged with the hashtag #NationalBurgerDay. You need to get this in your diary.

475 restaurants signed up to give customers 20% off their burgers during the 2015 celebrations. But this year has already seen over 860 restaurants sign up, and they are not just limited to London.

Nationwide chains such including Ed’s Easy Diner, Handmade Burger Co., Gourmet Burger Kitchen, MeatLiquor and more have put the meat where their mouth is, and will honour all vouchers obtained from the official National Burger Day website.

The day culminates in a massive shindig at a warehouse with around 3000 other Mr Hyde readers, with DJs, a huge selection of whiskeys, truckloads of beer and of course some of the finest burger vendors in the capital.

As professional gluttons, we absolutely love the idea of going to a warehouse and eating some of the finest burgers and drinking some of the finest beers until we are in agony.
