Founded by the father and son combination of Giovanni and Gianfranco, Zanolli has been one of the leading manufacturers of specialist pizza equipment in the European market since the early 1950s.

Well known for their range of deck ovens and dough presses; it is the Veronesi company’s conveyor ovens that really catch the eye.

Zanolli released their first conveyor oven in the late-1980s, becoming the first Italian manufacturers to do so in the process. With decades of expertise and a wealth of product knowledge already amassed, the firm quickly ascended to a market-leading position within the industry. Known as the Synthesis range, these ventilated helped revolutionise bakeries and pizzerias, confirming Zanolli as the Italian experts in this field.

Recently, we have teamed up with the Merseyside company Cater-Bake to offer these exceptional units to the UK market. Available in a range of sizes – from the compact 05/40 through to the industrial sized 12/100V – these conveyor ovens utilise a forced air system to guarantee an even bake across the chamber, perfectly cooking pizzas and other baked goods to perfection – even when cooking at low temperatures.

Showroom

Last week, we took delivery of our own 08/50V oven and welcomed Steven Lilley from Cater-Bake UK to our showroom. With the oven installed and given pride of place within our showroom, Steven was happy to swap his Merseyside offices for our spacious surroundings in Sherburn in Elmet to deliver a one-to-one product demonstration for each member of our sales team.

During the day, we had a little bit of fun: On the conclusion of each individual seminar, staff then had to go and create their own pizza that was then entered into a companywide completion.

After a tiring, filling and hard day’s work, Lorna was declared the winner – thanks to some dubious officiating from the Cater-Bake social media team.

And before you ask, I am not at all bitter about the decision…..

Customer Demonstrations

With a working Zanolli conveyor oven installed, we looking forward to welcoming prospective customers to our showroom to see the 08/50V in action. But, the 08/50V is just the start: Over the next few weeks, we will be working hard to complete our very own pizza preparation area that is complete with pizza press and preparatory counter.
